Hi folks! Just a quick update on the scholarship competition. I won one of the 3rd place prizes— $1,000 toward my tuition! I had this tiny moment of, “What was wrong with what I did? Why didn’t I win 1st prize?” But, I realized that this is a moment to be proud of myself, so I got pretty excited and happy after that. Anyhoots, thanks so much to those of you who read and were cheering me on. This is an amazing start to the year, and to my career as a culinary student, and I probably wouldn’t have even gone for it without some amazing cheerleaders in my corner.
